VSP offers low-out-of-pocket cost and access to a large network of participating providers. Benefits include annual well/vision exam, annual purchase of frames and contact lenses as well as additional lens enhancements and extra savings on glasses and sunglasses, a retinal screening, and laser vision correction.
Participation in the Monroe County Vision Plan is an annual election. Once enrolled, every June 1st of each year you will have the opportunity to change your election or cancel coverage. Once your election is made, you will be insured for 12 months.
